A 2-hour workshop where we begin by going withYIN and finding stillness. A YIN practice that will cultivate the stillness and the honoring of self-love. A practice that will help turn off the overdrive switch. The longer supported holds in Yin Yoga help the body and mind to relax and release tension, mentally, emotionally and physically. Yin Yoga creates a gentle traction and compression that can help to flush out toxins and lubricate the joints while releasing of forms of festive and everyday tension from the surrounding connective tissues. We will finish the class with a Yoga Nidra, (Yogic sleep)a deep relaxation. A method of inducing complete physical, mental and emotional relaxation. Lying in Shavasana one may appear to be asleep but the consciousness functions at a deeper level of awareness by following the Instructor’s voice.
